Well, I’m back at work after my 5-day Thanksgiving Road Trip to Omaha, Nebraska. I seem to take good weather with me wherever I go, since we had no inclement weather and almost no clouds for the duration of the trip.

The driving wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be, but then again, I didn’t do any of the driving. I managed to get through one whole chapter of my Powerplant study guide, so now I know about the general theory of operation behind both reciprocating and turbine engines. On our return trip, we stopped at a casino in Davis, Oklahoma, where I promptly lost $100. Which is okay, because the last two times I’ve been gambling, I’ve won quite a bit of money. I suppose I can’t get lucky every time.

All in all, it was a nice trip, and it was nice to visit with family, but I’m glad to be back home. Besides, maybe now I’ll get back to making regular posts.
