One for the treble, two for the bass…
Published by darrell December 28th, 2005 in PersonalThree to get funky and ROCK this place! Haha! I forgot to mention in yesterday’s post that my rental car from Hertz has Sirius satellite radio, and channel 43 is BackSpin, Old Skool Rap. How could life possibly get any better? So now I’m thinking of subscribing to Sirius, but I’ll have to pass that through Heather first.
Anyway, I realized that since I was essentially free to do whatever after about noon, I was able to go into Georgetown on the train and pick up a bunch of stuff for Heather at Lush. Afterwards, I headed to the mall to walk around for a bit. Somehow, cruising the malls just isn’t as fun as it was when i was a kid. It’s so much more fun when you are there with some friends and a blank check. So now I’m just going to kick back, maybe watch a movie, and get to bed early, since last time I went through Dulles there was something like a 45-minute wait to get through security, and I’d like to get to my gate early in hopes of snagging another first class upgrade.
Finally, while I will almost certainly get in trouble for making this a footnote to a rap-related blog entry, today is the third anniversary of my marriage to Heather. Naturally, I’m spending our anniversary halfway across the country…but hey, I went to Lush for her!!1!

Yay, Heather! Yay, Lush! Wow, I can’t believe it’s already been three years.
Triple yay! I love Darrell and Lush! We’ll have to talk about Sirus later though.
Now that you have brought up the rap subject, I recently heard this band I think you might enjoy. They are a UK rap group called ‘Goldie Lookin Chain’ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goldie_Lookin‘_Chain
It sounded like something I would catch you listening to.
