Episode 5 - Relator
Official Description: - “People who are strong in the Relator theme enjoy close relationships with others. They find deep satisfaction in working hard with friends to achieve a goal.”
Well this is it, the fifth and final episode in my Strengths series. I believe that this strength shows itself in how well I am able to work with people. This is not to say that I am a social butterfly. Quite the opposite, in fact. But this strength does not imply anything like that. It really just means that I have good relationships with the people that I already know, which I think is true for the most part. Although I’m not an extrovert, I do think that this strength helps to explain why people find me so approachable and friendly, especially when combined with my Harmony strength. This strength may also explain how easy it is for me to trust people. Sometimes this trust is misplaced, but I am very quick to trust and open up to people. This is probably how I’m able to make friends very quickly, once the ice is broken. (Again, note that I’m not at all the person to initiate a conversation with a stranger, but once the conversation is started, I am certainly good at keeping it going.)
Well, that’s about all I can say for this strength without getting too in-depth. I’m sure this entry is rather anti-climactic, but we can’t all have “Supervillain” as our top strength, now can we?
Oh, and speaking of Supervillains, I should take a moment to remind my favorite Supervillain-to-be that I make a great second-in-command/yes-man. I believe that my stregths bear this out, plus I have the added bonus of being very familiar with what to do and not to do as an evil overlord, leaving you free to utilize your genius in more entertaining and productive ways.
You can be on the Council of Terror, but only if you agree that we may refer to you as “The Relator”.
And you bring brownies.
If you get to be “The Relator” can I be the the assistant to “The Relator” aka “The Brownie Maker”?
How about “The Bake-or”?
ooh that sounds even better!
