Yes, chores. Everybody does them. I don’t do mine often enough. Up until this weekend, anyway. If you do lots of chores, then what I’m about to write will probably make you shake your head in disdain, but it’s a big step for me! First, without being prompted, I did the laundry. Two loads of clothes, plus another load for the bedsheets. Next, I vacuumed the floor! Okay, so I used the Roomba, but at least it got done! Plus I cleaned out the Roomba when it was all done and placed it back it it’s pretty wall charger unit. Finally, I put away the clean dishes in the dishwasher, and even filled the dishwasher with dirty dishes from the sink! *Whew*

Yeah, yeah, “So what?” you say. You’re right, I’m still a lazy bum that hates chores, but this weekend it was more important than usual for two reasons. First, it gave me some latitude with Heather so I could spend my free time playing World of Warcraft. Second, it allowed Heather to concentrate on her mosaic mirror which, I must say, looks outstanding!

Anyway, the chores really weren’t that hard, so maybe I won’t be so lazy in the future and I’ll make a habit of doing chores on the weekend, so Heather can spend time doing the fun things, like buying food from the store!
