Well, it has been a long time since my last update, so I apologize for that. Heather recently became hooked on skating after watching Rollergirls on A&E. So she went out and bought some inline skates and started learning to skate. Eventually, she dragged me into it and now we both do a few laps around the mini-track at a nearby elementary school a few times each week. I guess some exercise is better than no exercise at all.

Speaking of Rollergirls, since the show centered around the Roller Derby league in Austin, TXRD, Heather had been itching to go up there and watch a few bouts. We finaly made it up to watch the Holy Rollers take on the Rhinestone Cowgirls. I was cheering for the Holy Rollers, while Heather sided with the Cowgirls. Of course, the Cowgirls won. It was a lot of fun, and it looks like we’re going up to Austin again this weekend to watch another bout between the Hellcats and the Putas del Fuego. Heather has already decided that she gets to cheer for the Putas, and that I have to take the Hellcat’s side. Hopefully my team will pull out the big W.
